Annual job fair will bring school leaders,
teacher candidates together for interviews
BEAUFORT – Beaufort County School District principals, curriculum coordinators and teacher leaders will gather at the district’s annual career fair this weekend to interview candidates for classroom teaching jobs.
The event will be Saturday, March 11 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Bluffton High School. About 120 applicants have pre-registered to meet with school leaders about classroom teaching opportunities for the 2017-18 school year.
“This is a very effective event because it provides one-stop shopping for school leaders and prospective teachers,” said Superintendent Jeff Moss. “Teacher candidates can find the best fit for their talents and interests, and schools have an efficient way to find the best professionals for their classrooms.”
Recruiting Coordinator Jill McAden said that prospective teachers who aren’t able to attend the job fair can complete an online application to be considered for employment. Interested persons should visit the school district’s website (beaufortschools.net) and click on the “Employment Opportunities” icon.
